WHEREAS, the City of Foley owns and operates Graham Creek Nature Preserve which attracts many visitors year round.
WHEREAS, the City of Foley needs to document traffic flow through the Preserve and foot traffic on trails to acquire future grants and amenities.
WHEREAS, TRAFx is a trail and vehicle counter system used by parks nationwide to document traffic on roads and trails.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves up to $2345 for the purchase of the TRAFx system package from TRAFx budgeted under Account 01-620-7040.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
