Our lease agreement required the property to be maintain and create an aestically pleasing land.  The land has never been planted with sporst turf and has not been maintained as agreed upon in the lease.  The recommendation is to terminate the lease and have the City regain control of the maintenance of the property.

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

     SECTION 1:     Rescind Resolution 16-1185 and terminate the lease contract for use of the property west of the 10-plex sports fields.

     SECTION 2:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
