WHEREAS, On October 15, 2012 the City approved accepting the Alabama Municipal Electric Authority (AMEA) FY2013 Special Projects Grant in the amount of $5,000.00 through Resolution Number 13-0060 and also on October 15, 2012 authorized through Resolution Number 13-0040 the extension of the 2012 AHC Historic Preservation Grant for $3,971.44 to be used for personnel, which totaled $8,971.44 in grant money to be used for staffing;
WHEREAS, with this grant money, the City hired a Temporary Part-time Greeter/Receptionist for the Holmes Medical Museum;
WHEREAS, the City desires to keep the Holmes Medical Museum open through Labor Day, which will include being opened on Saturdays, but will have exhausted the grant money and will need an additional $9,305.84 to keep the Museum opened through the summer.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes the allocation of $9,305.84 to be used for staffing at Holmes Medical Museum and to be distributed to the following accounts: $8,623.84 into Welcome Center Part-time Salaries Account No. 01-625-1015, $660.00 into Welcome Center Payroll Tax Account No. 01-625-1030, and $22.00 into Welcome Center Workman’s Comp Acco...
