A Resolution Authorizing the President of the Alabama Municipal Insurance Corporation to Act as Proxy for the City of Foley at the Regular Annual Membership Meeting

WHEREAS, the Bylaws of the Alabama Municipal Insurance Corporation provide that the Mayor of any member municipality may appoint a proxy to represent the member at all membership meetings of the Corporation. It further provides that the proxy must be filed in writing with the Secretary of the Corporation no later than 30 days in advance of the meeting and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: The City of Foley authorizes Sean Duke, President of the Alabama Municipal Insurance Corporation to act as proxy for Foley at the regular Annual Membership Meeting to be held in Montgomery, Alabama, during the Alabama League of Municipalities Annual Convention, to transact such business as may come before the meeting.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
