AMIC's annual meeting will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel and Convention Center. The Board needs to elect Mayor Billy Joe Driver of Clanton to a term expiring 2022, elect Mayor Melvin Duran of Priceville to a term expiring 2022 and to transact such other business as may come before the meeting at that time.

WHEREAS, Alabama Municipal Insurance Corporation (AMIC) will hold there annual business meeting on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel and Convention Center, and
WHEREAS, the Board needs to vote on a proxy to serve as the Board's representative at the meeting.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Appoints Steve E. Wells to act as proxy for the Foley City Council.
SECTION 2: Grants Steve E. Wells to transact such other business as may come before AMIC's Annual Business meeting.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
