WHEREAS, Robert Benton and the American Legion Post 99 is requesting the use of Max Griffin Park on May 30, 2022 (Memorial Day) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm for their Memorial for All Fallen Veterans event. They will have speakers and they are requesting that the City of Foley will provide the use of a sound system and stage for this event. They are requesting that all fees be waived.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Waives the fees for the use of Max Griffin Park requested by Robert Benton and the American Legion Post 99 on May 30, 2022.
