Consider approving HPM's Amendment #5 modifying article 5.2.1 Of Master Services Agreement and Article 3 of Master Services Agreement to incorporate HPM's Revised Scope of Services for the Foley Sports Tourism Event Center in the amount of $902,400. The amendment includes extending the contract from April 30, 2016 to May 31, 2017; Pre-Design, Design, Bid and Award and Construction Phases.

Body

 

                     WHEREAS, the Foley City Council adopted Resolution 13-0343-RES hiring Hoar Program Management (HPM), at the established hourly rates, as outlined in their Master Services Agreement, which was made a permanent part of the aforementioned resolution, and

                     WHEREAS, HPM's Master Services Agreement needs to be amended to include the Cultural & Entertainment Center as outlined in their Amendment #5.

                     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

                     SECTION 1:                     Approves the mayor to execute Amendment #5 of HPM's Master Services Agreement as outlined in the attached Amendment #5 and is made a permanent part of this resolution upon adoption.

                     SECTION 2:                     Approves the creation of an Account for the Cultural and Entertainment Center.

                     SECTION 3:                     Appropriates $902,400 under Account Number 51-665-7200 R21 PROF

                     SECTION 3:                     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
