The City of Foley Community Development Department (CDD) requested permission to apply for the Alabama Historic Commission Local Certified Government (CLG) Grant. WHEREAS, The City of Foley Community Development Department (CDD) requested permission to apply for the Alabama Historic Commission Local Certified Government (CLG) Grant, and
WHEREAS, AHC is currently accepting applications until February 1, 2022, and
WHEREAS, if approved, the funds would be used for training, and
WHEREAS, the projected costs will be $16,000 with $9,600 funded by the grant and $6,400 being funded through cash / in kind serves under the FY22/23 budgets.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Community Development Department to apply for the FY2022 Alabama Historic Commission Certified Local Government Grant.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
