WHEREAS, the Friends of the Foley Library, in conjunction with the City of Foley Public Library, intends to submit a grant application to the FY23 Impact 100 Baldwin County in the amount of $105,000.00, and
WHEREAS, the deadline for the grant is May 31st.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the application by the Friends of the Foley Library, in conjunction with the City of Foley Public Library, to the FY23 Impact 100 Baldwin County grant that requires no matching funds and can be used for the new library.
SECTION 2: Council authorizes Mayor and other City officials to sign the application and other documents required to proceed with the grant request.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
