WHEREAS, the Foley City Council, May 31, 2016, accepted Waste Pro of Florida, Inc.'s original contract for commercial solid waste services for a period of three (3) years and,
WHEREAS, that contract expires June 1, 2019, and,
WHEREAS, Waste Pro has offered to extend our current Commercial Solid Waste Agreement for an additional three (3) years with an effective date of June 1, 2019, and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Extends Waste Pro's current Commercial Solid Waste agreement for a period of three (3) years.
SECTION 2: This Agreement will become effective on June 1, 2019 at the prices currently in place and will terminate on June 1, 2022.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
