Lisa Yeater with Blooms 4 You, Inc. is requesting to rent Heritage Park to host a Burgers, Brats & Beer Festival on Saturday, November 9, 2024 form 10am - 6pm. She is also requesting a variance to allow alcohol to be sold during the event. Lisa will rent Heritage Park starting at 3pm Thursday, November 7, 2024 and Friday, November 8th for set up and 8 hours (10am - 6pm) November 9th for the event. Lisa is also requesting to book/hold Sunday, November 10, 2024 for cleanup. There will be a $5.00 entrance fee so they will need barricades. They will have food vendors, arts & Crafts, Kids Zone, Live Music, Food Court Tent, Beer, Burgers and Brats. They will provide portable toilets. They will need 3/30-50 AMP for food or they can use their generators. They have been advised that they will need to provide a copy of their business license, liability insurance, alcohol sales license and insurance, and they will need to have off duty police officers on site due to alcohol sales if the event is approved.

WHEREAS, Lisa Yeater with Blooms 4 You, Inc. is requesting to rent Heritage Park to host a Burgers, Brats & Beer Festival event being held November 9, 2024. The request is to use Heritage Park Thursday, November 7th through Sunday, November 10, 2024 which includes setup and cleanup;
WHEREAS, Ms Yeater is requesting a variance to allow alcohol to be sold during the event;
WHEREAS, She has been advised that they will need to provide a copy of their business license, liability insurance, alcohol sales license and insurance, and are required to have off duty police officers on site due to alcohol sales if the event is approved.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the request made by Lisa Yeater with Blooms 4 You, Inc. to rent Heritage Park to host a Burgers, Brats & Beer Festival from November 7 - 10th and allow food and drinks to be sold November 9, 2024 from 10am - 6pm;
SECTION 2: Approve the variance for alcohol to be sold during the event being held November 9, 2024;
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
