A Resolution to Allocate Funds to the Parks & Recreation Department to Renovate the Dog Park.
Summary
The Parks & Recreation Department requests an allocation of $25,000 to the Dog Park maintenance account No. 100-5038-6011 to renovate the Dog Park. The park is currently overtaken by weeds and has very little grass remaining. We would like to resod the park, repair damaged fencing, pressure wash, and add dog water fountains. We have developed a maintenance plan going forward to help maintain the facility at a higher level. These funds were not budgeted but the repairs are much needed.

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department is requesting to renovate the Dog Park, and
WHEREAS, the total of cost of renovation will not exceed $25,000, and
WHEREAS, the expenses are not currently budgeted and we are requesting to increase the Dog Park maintenance account.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the renovation of the Dog Park at a cost of $25,000 and allocating this amount to the Dog Park maintenance account No. 100-5038-6011.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
