Summary
The Marketing Department requests approval to close the following streets on Oct. 24 for Hometown Halloween. We request to stagger the closing times as follows: Close Orange Ave. from Hwy. 59 to Alston Street at 3:30 pm; Close Alston Street from Hwy. 98 to Orange Ave. at 4:30 pm; Close Hwy. 98 from Hwy. 59 to Alston Street at 5:15. This will allow volunteers and city employees time to safely set up.

WHEREAS, The Marketing Department requests approval to close the following streets on Oct. 24 for Hometown Halloween,
And WHEREAS, the times for requested closure are staggered as follows: Close Orange Ave. From Hwy. 59 to Alston Street at 3:30 pm; Close Alston Street from Hwy 98 to Orange Ave. at 4:30 pm; Close Hwy 98 from Hwy. 59 to Alston Street at 5:15
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the street closure on October 24 as follows: Close Orange Ave. From Hwy 59 to Alston Street at 3:30 pm; Close Alston Street from Hwy 98 to Orange Ave. at 4:30 pm; Close Hwy 98 from Hwy. 59 to Alston street at 5:15.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
