WHEREAS, the City of Foley desires to adopt a new noise ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the Police Department is in need of six (6)decibel meters at a cost of $4,375.00 each, and
WHEREAS, the Police Department requests an increase to their small tools account budget in the amount of $26,250.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the increase the Police Department small tools budget in the amount of $26,250 and amends the budget accordingly.
SECTION 2: Approves the purchase of six decibel meters in the amount of $26,250 from PCB Piezotronics.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
