The Fire Department has received generous donations this fiscal year from several sources wishing to provide funding for additional equipment. We have identified a need for quick attack monitors to assist with large fires. We are requesting that our Fire Department Donation account 01-5044 be amended to reflect the unbudgeted $1859.12 and our Fire Suppression account 01-609-5070 be amended to show an additional $1859.12, for a net effect of $0.

WHEREAS, the Foley Fire Department has received unbudgeted donations of $1859.12 from several generous sources, and
WHEREAS, these donations are intended to support the Fire Department with needed fire equipment, and
WHEREAS, there is a need to purchase quick attack monitors to assist with fighting large fires.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts these donations and amends the FY17 budget to reflect an increase of $1859.12 in the Fire Department Donations account 01-5044 and an increase of $1859.12 in the Fire Suppression account 01-609-5070, for a net effect of $0.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
