WHEREAS, The Sanitation Department requests to purchase a New Way Sidewinder XTR ASL Garbage Truck Chassis from Sansom Equipment Company under Sourcewell Contract# 110223-NWY AND
WHEREAS, The cost is $415,665.00 and it is included in the FY26 budget described as Automated Garbage Truck under account# 601-1951 for $420,000.00
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the purchase of a New Way Sidewinder XTR ASL Garbage Truck under Sourcewell Contract# 110223-NWY for $415,665.00 under account# 601-1951 and described as Automated Garbage Truck.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
