WHEREAS, the Mills Community voted to annex into the City Limits, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council desire to add sidewalks in the Community to improve connectivity and pedestrian safety, and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has solicited a proposal from Volkert Associates for the Survey and Design of Phase 1 of these improvements.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approve and appropriate the proposal from Volkert Associates in the amount of $224,911.00 to account number # 400-3020-5174 Pedestrian Paths - Mills
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
