Body
WHEREAS, the City of Foley Public Library would like to acquire grant funding to provide more materials to its homeschool patrons, and
WHEREAS, the Alabama Public Library Service offers a $5,000 LSTA grants with a 25% match for this purpose.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Memorializes the Foley Public Library's Alabama Public Library Service FY 2016 LSTA grant application and approves the $1,250 (25%) match.
SECTION 2: The grant, if awarded, will become effective next fiscal year and be included in the FY16 Annual Budget.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
