WHEREAS, The Community Development Department requests permission to apply for FY21 Alabama Coastal Area Management Program (ACAMP) Funding, and
WHEREAS, ACAMP is current accepting applications until May 1, 2020, and
WHEREAS, the award amount will be between $20,000 and $50,000, and
WHEREAS, if approved, the funds would be used to update the City's Northeast Comp Plan, and
WHEREAS, the projected costs will be $55,000 with $27,500 being funded by the grant and $27,500 being funded through cash ($2,500) and in kind services ($25,000) under the FY21 budget.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Community Development Department to apply for FY21 Alabama Coastal Area Management Program (ACAMP) Funding.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
