WHEREAS, there is a need to amend the Pay Classification Plan in the Police Department to continue the efforts to reorganize the department.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes the amendment to the Pay Classification Plan by eliminating the position of Sergeant/Narcotics (Job Code 2010139 / Grade 200) and authorizing the position of Administrations Sergeant (Job Code 2010171 / Grade 200).
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
