WHEREAS, The CDD Department requests permission to apply for the FY2021 Leadership in Community Resilience Grant Program from the National League of Cities, and
WHEREAS, the maximum grant award is $10,000 with no match requirements, and
WHEREAS, applications will be accepted until December 23, 2020 with grants being awarded in February 2021, and
WHEREAS, potential projects are still being discussed.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes permission to the CDD Department to apply for the FY2021 Leadership in Community Resilience Grant Program from the National League of Cities.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
