WHEREAS, ALDOT is interested in, supports, and desires to participate in funding of the proposed construction of Tanger Avenue Extension, and
WHEREAS, the Developer will administer the engineering, construction and inspection of Tanger Avenue Extension to City standards, and
WHEREAS, the City will ultimately accept for maintenance as a public right of way the proposed Tanger Avenue Extension.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves entering into an agreement with ALDOT to construct the Tanger Avenue Extension.
SECTION 2: ALDOT will provide State Highway Funds of $250,000 maximum for the extension, which will be budgeted and authorized to begin at a later date.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
