WHEREAS, the two boxcars and the track car on display at the Train Depot are in disrepair and in need of maintenance, and,
WHEREAS, the Caboose Club Members have recommended that maintenance and repainting should be performed to extend the life of the cars, and,
WHEREAS, it is estimated that $32,000 is needed to accomplish this project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves a budget increase in the amount of $32,000 and appropriates funds to account number 100-5062-6034.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
