WHEREAS, Currently, the intersection located at North Poplar Street and East Section Avenue is a 2-Way stop; and
WHEREAS, Due to anticipated increased pedestrian movement associated with the new Public Works Complex and the First Responder Safe Room, the Engineering Department recommends the intersection be converted to a 4-Way stop controlled intersection.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approve converting the 2-Way stop into a 4-Way stop located at the intersection of North Poplar Street and East Section Avenue.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
