Due to a vacancy in the Revenue Division and to accommodate the division's current needs, we propose amending the Pay Classification Plan by eliminating the vacant position of Revenue Specialist I (Grade 110) and authorize the position of Revenue Clerk (Grade 90). The RS-I position will be needed in the future and we will come back to council at that time.

WHEREAS, to better accommodate the needs of the Revenue Division in the General Government Department, an amendment to the Pay Classification Plan is required to adjust certain positions in the department.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes amending the Pay Classification Plan by eliminating the vacant position of Revenue Specialist I (Job Code 1010141 / Grade 110) and authorizing the position of Revenue Clerk (Job Code 1010107 / Grade 90). This is a budget neutral action to the plan.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
