A Resolution to Approve Police Department Vehicles to be Deemed Surplus

Summary

The Foley Police Department requests permission to deem (14) fourteen vehicles as surplus, declare they are no longer needed for a public purpose, and to be disposed of by the best method available.

     WHEREAS, The Foley Police Department has (14) fourteen vehicles which are no longer operational.

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

     SECTION 1: Approves the request to declare the fourteen (14) vehicles as surplus and no longer needed for a public purpose.  

     SECTION 2: Approves the disposal of the surplus vehicles by the best method available.

     SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
