WHEREAS, the Nature Parks Department has a zero turn mower that has broken and parts are not available, and
WHEREAS, the proposed FY22 budget has a zero turn mower budgeted for $15,000, and
WHEREAS, G & J Power Equipment has an available zero turn mower for $10,461.00, and
WHEREAS, Nature Parks Department requests to increase the budget and purchase the zero turn mower for $10,461.00 from G & J Power Equipment.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Council approves the budget increase to account #100-2040-5100 for $10,461.00.
SECTION 2: Council approves the request to move forward with the purchase of the zero turn mower from G & J Power Equipment.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
