WHEREAS, There is a need to amend the Pay Classification Plan (PCP) to create one (1) additional slot in the position classification of Revenue Clerk (Job Code #1010107) for a limited amount of time (approximately 3 months) for succession planning purposes due to an upcoming retirement.

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

 

SECTION 1: Authorizes amending the Pay Classification Plan to create one (1) additional slot in the position classification of Revenue Clerk (Job Code #1010107) for approximately three (3) months.

SECTION 2: Authorizes removing this one (1) slot upon the retirement of the Revenue Officer and promotion of the existing Revenue Clerk into that position.

SECTION 3: No budget adjustment is necessary due to surplus funds being available in General Government as a result of existing vacanc(ies). 

SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
