WHEREAS, the T-Hangar units on the north apron of the Foley Municipal Airport were severely damaged by Hurricane Sally. The damaged units have been demolished and new units are being constructed in their place and now new T-Hangar lease rates need to be established, and
WHEREAS, proposed rates have been established based upon the current lease rate of the south apron units (Approximately 1,134 sq. ft. - $3,600/year or $300/month). The current lease rates for other Baldwin County airports were also evaluated and taken into consideration based upon size and airport amenities, and
WHEREAS, the proposed lease rates are as follows:
North Apron Small Units (16 units) - Approximately 1,030 sq. ft. - $3,300/year or $275/month
North Apron Large Units (8 units) - Approximately 1,344 sq. ft. - $4,320/year or $360/month
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves and accepts the proposed lease rates for new north apron T-Hangar units to be in effect upon completion of construction.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
