We have planned for both interior and exterior renovations to Fire St. 1. This project started with the approved sheet metal replacement on the east side and gutters. As we consider a facade on the north and west sides, along with interior remodels, we have decided that we need an architect to guide us through the plans and construction. We are requesting approval to use Adams Stewart Architects, LLC as the design firm at a cost not to exceed $9,500 to begin the exterior design.

WHEREAS, the Foley Fire Department has planned for renovations to Fire St. 1 and an architect is needed to evaluate and design the exterior facade along with other design considerations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the proposal from Adams Stewart Architects, LLC for initial design work for Fire St. 1 renovations for an amount not to exceed $9,500.
SECTION 2: Amends the FY25 budget project Account No. 400-2020-5108 for an additional $9,500.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
