WHEREAS, real estate located at 118 W. Laurel Avenue (Cactus Cafe Building) was offered by the City of Foley for sale and development in the form of an RFP and a single proposal was received in response to this RFP on January 24, 2017, and,
WHEREAS, it has been decided that the sole proposal should be rejected and the scope of the RFP should be revised and reissued.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Reject sole proposal submitted in response to the RFP and approve revision and reissuance of RFP.
SECTION 2: Appropriate $1,500 for advertising to account 01-620-3120.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
