WHEREAS, Bids were received and publicly opened at 11:00 a.m. on August 19, 2021 for the FY21 Annual Resurfacing Project (PHX), and
WHEREAS, Asphalt Services, Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder with the base amount of $807,427.70, and
WHEREAS, Asphalt Services, Inc. also submitted a bid for the Additive Alternative in the amount of $65,325.00, and
WHEREAS, Resolution 21-1173 approved funding for this project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves awarding the lowest responsible base bid, including alternate, for a total of $872,752.70 to Asphalt Services, Inc.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
