WHEREAS, during the regular scheduled Council Meeting of August 17th, 2026, RES #26-1310 A Resolution Authorizing the Mayor to Sign a Letter of Intent for Street Department was approved, AND
WHEREAS, Foley Street Department requests to amend RES #26-1310 to correct an error made on the total amount from $615,000.00 to $630,000.00 to reflect the overall cost amendment, AND
WHEREAS, Foley Street Department requests the Mayor to sign a revised letter of intent for the purchase of three (3) T480 Kenworth Tri Axle Dump Trucks from Truckworx for $630,000.00 for the Street Department.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the amending of RES #26-1310 A Resolution Authorizing the Mayor to Sign a Letter of Intent for Street Department for a new total cost of $630,000.00.
SECTION 2: Authorizes the Mayor to Sign a Letter of Intent for Street Department reflecting the corrected cost of $630,000.00.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
