The essential job duties of the Economic Development Director have changed significantly since that position was first created. Therefore, a job analysis was conducted on this position and The Archer Company recommends a pay grade increase from a Grade 37 to a Grade 39 in the City's Pay Classification System.  There is no budgetary impact with this resolution.

     WHEREAS, The essential job duties of the Economic Development Director have changed significantly since the position was first created. Therefore, a job analysis was conducted on this position and The Archer Company recommends a pay grade increase from a Grade 37 to a Grade 39 in the City's Pay Classification System. 

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

     SECTION 1:     Authorizes a Pay Grade modification to the Economic Development Director position to move that position from a Grade 37 to a Grade 39 in the city's Pay Classification System.

     SECTION 2:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
