Summary
The City of Foley Community Development Department (CDD) requested permission to apply for the Alabama Historic Commission Local Certified Government (CLG) Grant. AHC is currently accepting applications until April 1, 2021. If approved, the funds would be used to request a consultant under the staffing/training category. WHEREAS, The City of Foley Community Development Department (CDD) requested permission to apply for the Alabama Historic Commission Local Certified Government (CLG) Grant, and
WHEREAS, AHC is currently accepting applications until April 1, 2021, and
WHEREAS, if approved, the funds would be used to request a consultant under the staffing/training category, and
WHEREAS, the projected costs will be $16,000 with $9,600 funded by the grant and $6,400 being funded through cash / in kind serves under the FY21/22 budgets.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Community Development Department to apply for the FY2020 Alabama Historic Commission Certified Local Government Grant.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
