WHEREAS, Riviera Utilities is requesting to evaluate three well sites within Graham Creek Nature Preserve with an exploratory boring to a depth of 500', an electric log of the boring and a 4" screened well for test purposes to determine the availability of ground water resources, and
WHEREAS, Orange Beach Water will evaluate the potential water quantity and water quality of each site, and
WHEREAS, if sufficient, Orange Beach Water, Sewer and Fire Protection Authority will exchange the property with Orange Beach owned property known as Orth property.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the letter of intent submitted by Riviera Utilities to evaluate three well sites.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
