WHEREAS, the ADA Memorial Trail is a widely used handicap accessible trail at Graham Creek Preserve, and
WHEREAS, there is a major gap from the parking area and the start of the trail, and
WHEREAS, the capital project is included in the current year budget for $11,000, and
WHEREAS, KorKat Playgrounds provided a quote to expand the trail with gravel underlay and bonded rubberized mulch for $9580.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the ADA Memorial Trail Expansion and the contract with Lanier Plans, Inc. dba KorKat for $9580.00 and allocates $9580.00 into Account Number 400-5090-5104 ADA memorial Trail Expansion..
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
