WHEREAS, the City of Foley, solicited and opened bids on October 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. for Inmate Calling Services, and
WHEREAS, NCIC Inmate Communications was the sole bidder, and
WHEREAS, NCIC Inmate Communications submitted a bid for the City to be paid 61% commission of gross revenue from inmate phone services with a minimum guarantee of $1,020 commission per month, and
WHEREAS, NCIC Inmate Communications will charge $0.20 per minute for all inmate telephone calls except international call which will be $0.25 - $0.35 per minute depending on location.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the bid from NCIC Inmate Communications for a 61% commission on gross revenue received from inmate calling services and authorizes the Mayor to execute the contract.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
