WHEREAS, The Foley Police Department has a need to upgrade obsolete equipment at the Foley Radio Tower, and
WHERAS, this project is budgeted in the FY20 budget as Telex Radio Equipment upgrade at $18,100 in GL account 400-2010-5102 (Communication Tower Upgrades) (Project Number R52-Telex), and
WHEREAS, Foley Police Department requests to award Hurricane Electronics this project under state contract master agreement # MA 999 T3004020002 at an amount not to exceed $18,100.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the request to upgrade obsolete equipment at the Foley Radio Tower.
SECTION 2: Approves the requests to award Hurricane Electronics this project under state contract master agreement # MA 999 T3004020002 at an amount not to exceed $18,100 and amends 400-2010-5102 (Communication Tower Upgrades) (Project Number R52-Telex) accordingly.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
