WHEREAS, The Police Department roof is to be replaced in two phases, and
WHEREAS, The first phase is to occur in FY 2017 and the second phase is to occur in FY 2018 and,
WHEREAS, The materials for phase 1 will be purchased from TREMCO/Weather Proofing Technologies Inc. for replacing roof through National IPA contract #R132205-AL-14498, and
WHEREAS, The cost to install the first phase of the roof replacement with be bid.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Police Department roof replacement in two phases.
SECTION 2: Approves the purchase of materials for phase 1 from TREMCO/Weather Proofing Technologies Inc. in the amount of $64,803.30 and appropriates the funds to account# 12-665-7381 R30 PH1.
SECTION 3: Approves the Police Department's request to go to bid for the cost of installation of phase 1 of the roof replacement in an amount not to exceed $65,196.70 and appropriates the funds to account# 12-665-7381 R30 PH1.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
