WHEREAS, The Police Department has (44) guns in the evidence property room that were confiscated, cleared by the courts or abandoned that need to be declared surplus, and
WHEREAS, the Police Department would like to donate the guns to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for parts and testing.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves declaring (44) guns as listed, as surplus.
SECTION 2: Approves the guns listed be donated to the Department of Forensic Sciences.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
