WHEREAS, there is a need for drainage improvements in the areas of the alley north of West Orange Avenue at South Cedar Street, and North Oak Street and West Berry Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department intends to design these drainage projects for construction by City forces, and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department requests the City Council to appropriate $19,000.00 to purchase materials for these drainage improvements.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Appropriates $19,000.00 for drainage improvement projects, with an estimated cost of $6,000.00 for the alley north of West Orange Avenue at South Cedar Street, and an estimated cost of $13,000.00 for North Oak Street and West Berry Avenue, amending Account No. 12-665-7128 A19.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
