Summary

Resolution 26-1154 transferred a headcount from the Street Department (Public Works Construction Manager) to the Engineering Department with the understanding that the headcount lost would be added back for another function and need of the Street Department. This request adds one additional headcount in the position of Urban Forestry Technician I broadening their ability to run two crews. This request is budget neutral for this fiscal year due to vacancies.

Body

 

     WHEREAS, the Urban Forestry Division within the Street Department wishes to run two crews to meet the demands of their services which requires an additional headcount to this division to accomplish this need.

 

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

 

     SECTION 1:    Amends the Pay Classification Plan by authorizing one (1) additional headcount in the position of Urban Forestry Technician I (Job Code 3010137 / Grade 80).

 

     SECTION2:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
