WHEREAS, Resolution 18-1320 appropriated funds for the 9th Avenue Extension Project, and
WHEREAS, the City solicited and publicly opened sealed bids on December 20, 2018 with Bill Patterson Construction, Inc being the sole bidder, and
WHEREAS, Council approved award of Base Bid and Alternate 1 under Resolution 19-1011, and
WHEREAS, the Baldwin County Board of Education has agreed to make a $36,081.54 contribution, which is 50% of Bid Alternate 2 totaling $72,163.08.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Awards Bid Alternate 2 to Bill Patterson Construction and Appropriates $72,163.08 under Account No. 400-3020-5127 R33 CONST and amends the budget accordingly.
SECTION 2: Accepts the Baldwin County Board of Education's contribution of $36,081.54 under Account No. 400-3020-4658 R33 BOE and amends the budget accordingly.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
