WHEREAS, Resolution 18-1137 accepted the award for an FY2018/19 Certified Local Government (CLG) Grant to perform a Predevelopment Feasibility Study at Cactus Café, and
WHEREAS, Council has approved the sale of the Cactus Café building under Resolution 18-1149. Grant Manager Miriam Boutwell requests to change the focus of the grant award from the Cactus Café Building to the Hamburg building, and
WHEREAS, the Alabama Historical Commission is in agreement with this change.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the change of focus to grant award from Alabama Historical Commission (AHC), FY2018-19 Certified Local Government (CLG Grant) for a Predevelopment Feasibility Study from the Cactus Café building to the Hamburg building.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
