NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the $37,500 award in order to build a boardwalk and trail at Graham Creek with the total project cost of $75,000 with $37,500 being funding by the grant and $37,500 being matched in cash.
SECTION 2: Approves the following accounts be amended accordingly: 400-5090-5105 (GCNP Boardwalk) in the amount of $75,000 and account #400-5090-4201 (ADCNR Boardwalk Grant) in the amount of $37,500. Project code is CN5.
SECTION 3: Approves Graham Creek’s request to proceed with this project by contracting for the engineering of this project and going to bid on the construction with the total project cost not to exceed $75,000.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
