The following holidays fall on a Work Session and Council meeting day and need to be rescheduled for next day:
Martin Luther King Jr. Day Monday, January 19, 2015 to Tuesday, January 20, 2015
Labor Day Monday, September 7, 2015 to Tuesday, September 8, 2015
Also the ALM Conference and ICSC Conference falls during the week of the May 18, 2015 Work Session and Council meeting day. The alternate dates could be one of the following:
Monday, May 11, 2015; Friday, May 15, 2015; Thursday, May 21, 2015 or any day May 26th through the 29th.
Friday, May 22nd through 25th is Memorial Day Weekend

WHEREAS, from time to time holidays fall on days where Council Work Session and Meetings are scheduled and they are as follows:

WHEREAS, from time to time conferences are also scheduled on days where Council Work Session and Meetings are scheduled and they are as follows:
ALM Conference May 16 - 19, 2015 Conflicts with Monday, May 18, 2015 Meetings
ICSC RECON May 17 - 20, 2015 Conflicts with Monday, May 18, 2015 Meetings
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Reschedules the Council Work Session and Meeting originally scheduled on Monday, January 19, 2015 to Tuesday, January 20, 2015 for the same times to accommodate for Martin Luther King Day.
SECTION 2: Reschedules the Council Work Session and Meeting originally scheduled on Monday, September 7, 2015 to Tuesday, September 8, 2015 for the same times to accommodate for Labor Day Holiday.
SECTION 3: Reschedules the Council Work Session and Meeting originally scheduled on Monday, May 18, 2015 to Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. respectively.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
