Summary
Due to the retirement of the employee serving in the Recreation Secretary/Receptionist position (Grade 7), there is a need to rewrite the job description at a higher skill level and to re-title the job to Recreation Office Manager. The Archer Company has re-evaluated the job and has classified the job at a Grade 9, Non-Exempt, Job Code #2409. No budget adjustment is needed in support of this action.

WHEREAS, Due to the retirement of the employee serving in the Recreation Secretary/Receptionist position (Grade 7), there is a need to rewrite the job description at a higher skill level and to re-title the job to Recreation Office Manager. The Archer Company has re-evaluated the job and has classified the job at a Grade 9, Non-Exempt, Job Code #2409. No budget adjustment is necessary in support of this action.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: The Pay Classification Plan is hereby amended to retitle the Recreation Secretary/Receptionist position (Grade 7) to the Recreation Officer Manager (Grade 9), Non-Exempt, Job Code #2409.
SECTION 2: No budget adjustment is necessary or being requested.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
