Summary
The Nature Parks Department is requesting to allocate funds to the Capital Project, South Entrance Restroom and Pavilion, in the amount of $48,800. This will be for the design and engineering of the site work for a modular restroom and pavilion at the southern side of Graham Creek Nature Preserve north of Russian Road. This includes topographic survey, soil investigation, architectural, MEP, structural, civil design with grading, drainage and utilities and bid procurement.

WHEREAS, the City of Foley 2026 Capital Projects Plan included the South Entrance Restroom and Pavilion, and
WHEREAS, the proposed project is estimated at $48,800 in design and engineering, and
WHEREAS, the Nature Parks Department would like to move forward with adding this amenity for the increased use of this area of the park.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the design phase of the South Entrance Restroom and Pavilion and allocates $48,800 to Account No. 400-5090-5121.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
