WHEREAS, the Police Department's K-9 Division has a need for a place to train their K-9 officers, and
WHEREAS, Peace Lutheran Church has agreed to let the City use a portion of their property in exchange for keeping the grass mowed.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves entering into a Ground Lease Agreement for five (5) years with Peace Lutheran Church for a nominal fee of $1 per year in exchange for grass mowing for Tax Map Parcel No. 54-08-28-2-000-036.001: 8250 Roscoe Road Gulf Shores, AL. 36542. The Police Department will be responsible for this activity.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
